Jake HanrahanAt 16, with a pittance of qualifications under his belt and no idea what he was doing, Jake left school and left home in search of glory. It wasn’t quite the adventure he’d imagined though; instead, he’d ended up with an unsteady job at a boxing gym and a one room house share in the same corroding area that he’d grown up in. Then, at 18, he had a daughter with his long term missus. This changed everything, and he decided to take serious the only thing he was any good at – writing. Now, at 22, Jake has made ground as a freelance journalist. He has also written for The Guardian, The Independent, MTV, Wired, The Huffington Post and Rolling Stone in the Middle East amongst others. Jake lives in the East Midlands with his missus and their beautiful daughter. He is definitely always available for work and is currently searching for someone to commission his documentary ideas... @OiJake |
