James Brown

James Brown

James Brown started his magazine career as a reader of Tiger and Jag. He published his own fanzine, joined the NME and then created Loaded magazine which created a worldwide genre, spawned two generations of imitators and has sold over 40,000,000 copies. He later launched Jack magazine and has written for, advised and published numerous others. He was once voted more influential than Mrs Thatcher and the Pope by Channel 4 and The Observer. (Who were clearly on drugs at the time). He still thinks about Billy's Boots and Hot Shot Hamish.
