Thierry Henry loves Britain but still doesn't get this nation's obsession with red sauce.
We know many things about Ashley Cole: he’s a great left back, he’s got a smashing wife, he’s a dodgy driver and he likes shooting interns. But now we know another little nugget: The England man puts ketchup on everything. Talking exclusively to PUMA Football, former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry reveals:
“Every thing he used to eat, he would put tomato ketchup in it. And I’m like: ‘The chef has been preparing a sauce for I don’t how long for you and you’re putting tomato ketchup in it. Tell the guy to not bother.’”
Henry who has, it’s probably safe to say, slightly more refined tastes than the Chelsea player has very strong opinions of his own about the tomato based condiment.
“I think tomato ketchup goes with French fries, and that’s it.”
