Will Benzema To Arsenal Mean Suarez Leaves Liverpool?
Arsenal fans seem resigned to the fact the Olivier Giroud is looking increasingly likely to exit the Emirates this summer - but there could be good news on the way, in the form of a ready-made replacement.
The French Y-front sporter is apparently heading back across the Channel - destination: Paris - and it seems that Arsene Wenger has already been working hard in the transfer market, in order to bring more cutting edge to North London.
The man he has earmarked to replace his current number 12? Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema. The Bernabeu hitman has been in solid form this campaign, and Wenger is well-known to be a big fan of the Gallic goalgrabber, who would cost around £40 million to prize from the Spanish giants.
It’s a lot of money, sure - but Benzema has proved that he is a world class striker, and that could be just the attacking impetus that the Gunners need to mount a real title challenge next season.
But that’s not the only way that they might benefit from his signing. With Real Madrid’s pockets lined, the Spanish club could well use that money to snatch Luis Suarez from Arsenal’s rivals Liverpool, meaning that wily old Arsene would kill two birds with one, very expensive stone.

Two problems with this article. Real will obviously only sell Benzema to Arsenal (or Chelsea who are also interested) if they have a replacement secured. The Louis Suarez of today is in a totally different place emotionally than the Louis of 12 months ago. He is now obviously really happy, in a team playing great football, at the top of the league, just voted player of the year, and looking forward to the great Champions League nights at Anfield he has heard so much about from Steven Gerrard. Liverpool will spend at least £70m on players this summer making them even more competitive. And he is now on a salary nearly double that of last year. Also any buyout clause in his contract could very well only apply if Liverpool DON'T qualify for the Champions League. Arsenal are again in danger of spending a summer chasing unobtainable targets!
have to agree. but listen liverpool could well cash in on him if brendan rodgers sees a 21 year old for 15million, he could turn him in to a world beater just like sturridge.
I expect real Madrid to table a bid of 90 mil plus Alonso in the close season for suarez or something like that. and lets face it . I don't care who you are or how good you are,any club in the world would take that.
