Sabotage Times 2012-01-22
Newsletter exclusive
Hi there

We've decided we're going to start pinging out our weekly emails at all sorts of times again so I guess you'll either be reading this Sunday afternoon or opening it instead of your work emails Monday morning. Either way welcome to our world. If you've not  clicked on Sabotage lately where've you been? If you have and are all over it well done. Thank you, your interest keeps us going.

What we do know is there are more people visiting Sabotage regularly than ever before. This last week has been one of the most viewed since we've launched and that's been without a mega-hit story.

Here are a few of the highlights of the last 7 days to enjoy.

Most read story of the week was this spoof Gervais Golden Globes script:

Picture of the week was this very funny screen grab from Twitter:

Most popular football story of the week was this anti-Ken Bates song from irate Leeds fans:

And the most visited story from the archive was Adam Clery on women who rock his world, but shouldn't:

People often ask us how we pay for Sabotage Times and one of the ways we fund it is through our syndication department, this week we've sold stories to a wide variety of clients ranging from Meze to the New York Times.

And we are also still selling our compilation of the great Liverpool based 80's fanzine The End. We've been tweeting and facebooking links to it for the last three months and know that many of you have supported us by buying one. If  you haven't but enjoy football, music, humour and bands like The Beat, The Chords, The Clash, Billy Bragg and Wah! then hopefully you'll give it a go. We've sold over 3,400 copies and it was the best selling book in Liverpool Waterstones over Christmas.

You can buy a copy here and you can also read an interview with The End editor Peter Hooton which appeared last week on the front page of Vice.com.

Thanks for reading, recommending us to your friends and keep your comments and story ideas coming.

All the best

Editor in Chief
